Krewe de Roux 2027: Sponsorship Opportunities

Leadership Rankin County, Inc. is a 501(c)3 charitable organization through the Rankin County Chamber of Commerce (ID: 93-3608564). The Leadership Rankin program provides opportunities for business leaders and students to further develop their leadership skills, learn more about the various innovative industries in Rankin County, and build strong relationships with other professionals or students across the county.

The participants of these programs also work tirelessly to plan and organize the Rankin County Chamber of Commerce and City of Brandon's annual Krewe de Roux Festival. Krewe de Roux is the largest Mardi Gras festival in Central Mississippi, with over 12,000 in attendance in 2026!

None of this would be possible without our community partnerships. We invite you to partner with us and ask that you consider sponsoring the 8th Annual Krewe de Roux Festival on February 5 - 6, 2027. With your support, the Rankin Chamber is able to continue enhancing the adult and youth Leadership Rankin programs through continued education and scholarships while providing an exciting community event!

Fri. February 5, 2027: Parade of Floats & Block Party

The Parade of Floats will kick-off the Mardi Gras-filled weekend in Historic Downtown Brandon. The highlight of the night will be a free public concert by Bag of Donuts on the Big Stage on Dining Street, drawing a crowd of all ages! Local restaurants such as Genna Benna, Mudbugs 042, Burgers Blues Barbecue, The Cleaners by Pizza Shack, and The Gallows Bar will stay open late, providing a spot for when you need great food and beverages.

Sat. February 6, 2027: Gumbo Cook-Off

The Gumbo Cook-Off will be held at the Brandon Amphitheater. Approximately 50 teams will provide sample-size gumbo in hopes of winning prizes, like "Best Gumbo" and "Fan Favorite"! We will also be introducing a Bloody Mary Competition this year, creating even more opportunities to compete and win. This is a very family-friendly environment, with plenty of entertainment, live music by SoundCheck The Band, and activities for all ages.
