About Us
Our Purpose:
''Care Today...Character Tomorrow...''
Four simple words that thousands of women have taken to heart since the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries was founded in 1941 in Greenville, Mississippi. The Rankin County Chapter was chartered by a group of caring, enthusiastic women in 1986 and continues to grow and thrive, serving one of the fastest growing counties in the state.
Projects range from visiting the elderly, to working in the schools, to lending a helping hand to families in need. We work tirelessly throughout the year on a variety of projects focusing on children and families because we believe strong families are the backbone of strong communities. Most recently JARC helped several struggling families through some very trying times which would have directly impacted the family situation and stability.
The Junior Auxiliary of Rankin County is a member of the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries, Inc. For more information on the Rankin County Chapter visit our website.
